To summarise the past week of posts about Mytus.co and where we’ve come so far:

🛍 NOT A MARKETPLACE — When I was starting Mytus, I got lots of feedback from brand owners that there are tons of marketplaces pitching them. Mytus is not one of them. It’s a place to collect and organize the stories of small brands, but if someone wants to learn more, we link straight to the brand’s website for purchases 🔗

💅 NOT AN INFLUENCER — A consistent feedback I’ve gotten on Mytus is: who are you? I’m not hiding, my name is Sarah, and I started Mytus as a coding bootcamp project. But I don’t want Mytus to be about me. There are plenty of influencers out there doing a great job. My goal with Mytus is to present the stories of small brands in an easy to discover way so folks can find stories that connect with them, not to what connects with me.

👩‍💻 CODING → CONTENT → COMMUNITY — Mytus has already moved from a coding project to a content project with virtually #nocode, and I love that evolution. Where to next? I want to see the content come from the community in some way, and I’m working on new features to make that happen. More to come.
